Bobby Martin – self titled first LP

Robert “Bobby” Martin, the son of two opera singers from Philadelphia, is a conservatory-trained french horn player, a gifted athlete, and he sports a genius IQ. Robert taught himself to play piano and all the brass instruments in elementary school; he learned all the reed instruments shortly thereafter. Although he had attracted the attention of professional baseball scouts as an all-star shortstop, he decided to pursue a career in music.

In 1986 he toured with Michael McDonald. Footage of the 1986/01/30 concert (a professional recording) in Japan exists.

Robert Martin was a band member of The Band From Utopia.

In 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012, Robert Martin was special guest at the Zappanale Festival in Bad Doberan, Germany.
In 2010, Robert Performed with Collectif LeBocal and with The Central Scrutinizer Band.
